GYC300TUNING FORK LEVEL SWITCH

The tuning – fork – type level switch is a new – type level switch. The tuning fork is excited by a crystal to vibrate. When the tuning fork is immersed in materials, the vibration frequency changes. This frequency change is detected by the electronic circuit and a switching value is output. The tuning fork of the sensor vibrates at an inherent frequency. When the tuning fork touches liquid or other materials, its inherent vibration frequency decreases, and energy is consumed in the friction between material particles, forcing the amplitude to decay sharply and stop vibrating. The change in frequency activates the level switch, generating on – off signals.
